The Japanese car company Toyota, manufactures a car called the Prius, which is hybrid (has a gasoline engine and an electric motor). Before heading out to the market for sale, develop a prototype or concept in order to know if he can or not be produced and sold in series. This prototype is known as conceptual car or concept, which gives an abstract idea and general of as it will be the car that will be sold in the future.

Prius is a Latin word. May be a comparative neutral ( the male and female is prior ) originated in prae ( front ) which means first, superior, above. It also acts as adverb meaning before, first of all, in the first place. Sometimes it goes in correlation with quam, prius. quam: before that.
